The Shifting Purposes of Academic Records: Student and Employer Perspective
Academic credentials including transcripts, diplomas and certificates are at the center of the post-graduation opportunity. Not surprisingly, learner attitudes about the value and use of credentials have shifted. This session explores three years of survey data describing the progressive learner attitude starting with the exchange of transcripts, through the realization that those transcripts need to do more, and finishing with how the diploma is stepping up to fill in some of those gaps.
